• NTHS Attendance rate- 96.3%       State standard 94%
• PSAT exam
  10/12/11 9am-11am  Cost was
  covered by Church donations
• Senior College Night 10/13/11 In the library
  6pm-7pm
• PTSA sponsored Ice Cream Social for teachers 10/14/11
• NW Advisory Council 10/18/11 7pm Funding for
  stadium lights, speakers must sign up at 6:30 pm., currently there are no funds
  available, + 182 BC schools w/o air condition
• BCPS PTSA Fall Reception  10/20/11
• Schools Closed for Teacher Convention in O.C.
  10/21/11

President’s Report-

• Membership Drive- very low membership this year
  – formed a Membership Committee

Teacher Membership: 3    / Parent Membership: 59

Suggestions made: Survey to Parents

Breakfast served if Teacher/Student class
receives 100%participation

Holiday Turkey/Ham given to 100%
Teacher/Dept. participation

• World’s Finest Chocolate- 20 boxes of chocolate
  left. Parents were asked to please help sell last boxes.
• Gospel Play –The Banquet- Tanya spoke to group
  about NTHS PTSA hosting a play and Jazz concert.
• Details: Play- January 14^th & 21^st
  2 shows each evening 2:00 & 7:00

: Concert – Marcus Johnson Spring Jazz concert March
17^th or 24^th, guarantee     donation of $600.00 to PTSA, No other cost
to the school, school can feature our kids to open up show or practice with
Marcus Johnson, discussed ticket sales

• SAT Review- attempting to partner with Athletic
  Comm., check with Caring for Minds for cost/availability, suggestion from
  parent-New Antioch Church SAT tutor program
• Annual Parent/Faculty Basketball Game Nov 18^th-
  student vs. faculty, firefighters vs. police dept., parent vs. faculty

Suggestion: between games give a half-court shot
prize, bring can good for Moveable Feast and receive discount admission price.
