I am thankful for having the opportunity to work with such a magnificent staff and in a wonderful community. Our teachers are working hard to provide our students with quality instruction on a daily basis.
We are committed to improving student achievement at New Town High School. As we continue to work as a team, administrators, teachers, parents and students, I can assure you that our students will reap the benefits.
We had over 200 students earn honor roll status during the first quarter. During the Board of Education Recognition Ceremony there were eleven New Town High School students recognized for their work in the arts and FBLA.
The College Board recognized five New Town High School students for their outstanding performance on the PSAT.
One student from the class of 2011 has a chance to win major scholarship money as a result of her PSAT score.
The guidance department is working to identify local and national college scholarships for our students. We want to make sure that every student who wants to go to college has an opportunity to do so.
It is our responsibility to give our students the best opportunity to achieve their goals. Our students can show their commitment by coming to school prepared each day and working to their potential. I am excited about the future at New Town High School. I hope everyone has a wonderful and enjoyable holiday season. Mr. Mustipher
